He is a professor in the finance area and Coordinator of Extension in Financial and Capital Markets at the School of Economics and Business of PUC-Campinas.

In academia, he was Head of Edtech, a Financial Education teacher in elementary and high school for six years, financial manager of the Pro-Rectorate of Administration at PUC-Campinas for two terms, a Member Advisor of the National Institute of Investors, and creator of the EconoNina & EmpreendeDóra Financial and Entrepreneurial Education program aimed at elementary and high school students.
As a finance professional, he worked as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) abroad, was a partner in a brokerage firm, and a manager of a securities and insurance brokerage firm.
As a volunteer, he serves as an ad hoc reviewer for scientific journals and periodicals, gives interviews to television stations, radio stations, newspapers, and internet portals, plans, organizes, and accompanies students on technical visits to companies in the financial and capital markets, and was a columnist for the InfoMoney portal with the column "Beyond Money" and for the Space Money portal with the column "Uncomplicated Finances.".
